2025 was a year of significant growth and impact for Enterprise Evolution. From Madrid to Chile, we’ve been all over the world this year, expanding our reach and connecting with international partners.

Throughout the year, we set the stage for future progress by building partnerships and digital tools to help close the gender gap in deep tech and business.

Curious about our recent work? Here’s a look back at our year and a preview of what’s coming in 2026.

Our 2025 in review

January: Our consultants started the year in Madrid at the Acción contra el Hambre headquarters. This meeting helped set the strategy for Women 5.0, an Erasmus+ project focused on closing the digital gap for women entrepreneurs in Europe.

February: We joined the EPIC-X project, an initiative set to support women-led deep-tech start-ups in Europe grow by giving female innovators the resources they need.

March: The Entrepreneurship4All (E4All) Women’s Academy launched, and we were also delighted to attend the Women in Business NI (WiBNI) Awards in Belfast, celebrating the incredible talent within the local ecosystem.

April: Our directors travelled to Porto for the first partner meeting of the EPIC-X project, hosted by partners INOVA+. This marked the start of our collaboration to support deep-tech female founders across Europe’s emerging innovation hubs.

May: We focused strongly on research and global advocacy. Working with EPIC-X, we consulted with female deep tech leaders to learn about the challenges they face.

Principal Consultant Lisa McMullan also represented us at the 14th Latin American Seminar (#14STProdem) in Chile. At the same time, Executive Director Maggie O’Carroll built stronger academic connections in Europe by presenting on women’s entrepreneurship at Aarhus University in Denmark.

June: The Women 5.0 website officially debuted, bringing the project to life. Our thought leadership continued through the airwaves, as Principal Consultants Lisa and Alison joined the Advance HE Student Success Podcast to discuss how higher education can better equip students to create social and economic value.

July: We built on the success of the previous E4All academies with the AI Academy, which had the highest attendance yet. Participants from many countries learned about AI integration, showing a strong demand for future-ready skills.

August: Enterprise Evolution strengthened our leadership team by welcoming Dr. Janine Swail to our Board of Directors.

September: It was announced that ourselves and Catalyst NI would lead The Social Value Collaborative, a new project aiming to build a more cohesive society in Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland. Read to the end to learn more about this initiative.

October: We contributed to the Women 5.0 professional development sessions for trainers in Vienna. We also submitted our entry to the EU Story competition to highlight our impact across Europe. Watch it here.

November: A major milestone was marked when we celebrated the Entrepreneurship4All (E4All) programme in Brussels. More than 2,500 people used the E4All ecosystem, with women making up 63% of the group.

At the end of the year, we were shortlisted for the Mayo Business Awards, where we showcased SocialScore, our digital solution that measures and reports Social Value.

What’s coming in 2026?

In the new year, we plan to grow the SocialScore platform, strengthen our partnerships in Northern Ireland and Europe, and keep supporting women in deep-tech and digital fields. We’re look forward to building on the progress of our main projects:

Entrepreneurship4All: The foundation is set, and this resource is still available to everyone. The modules will soon be moving to the EU Academy platform. Follow us on LinkedIn for updates.

Women 5.0: The free digital skills platform for women entrepreneurs prepares to go live. This will be a vital tool for women at every stage of their business journey, helping them upskill in digital business know-how.

EPIC-X: This year the project will support 20 female-led deep-tech start-ups from moderate and emerging markets, with €1.2 million in funding. The first round for the Acceleration+ Programme closed on January 5th, and successful applicants will receive up to €60,000 in support and expert mentorship.

SocialScore: After launching our new website, we are adding more content and expertise to help more businesses and third-sector groups measure their impact.

Social Value Collaborative: One of our biggest announcements for 2026 is the launch of the Social Value Collaborative (SVC), funded by PEACEPLUS, which we will lead in partnership with Catalyst NI.

We will be helping 60 voluntary, community, and social-business organisations better measure and share the story of their social impact, using digital innovation and align with public procurement standards to help these organisations grow.

With support from partners including the Department for the Economy and Women in Business NI, SVC will be a key part of our work going forward.

As these projects progress, we’ll share regular updates, insights, and ways for you to get involved. To keep up with our news, follow us on LinkedIn and visit our website for updates and resources.

Here’s to an even more impactful year ahead!
