We at Enterprise Evolution are thrilled to announce the launch of Women 5.0: Women Entrepreneurs in a Digital Future, a new Erasmus+ project!

We’re passionate about empowering women entrepreneurs, and this project is dedicated to bridging the digital gender gap by providing them with the digital skills and facilitating the innovation they need to succeed.

While progress has been made, women still face significant challenges in the digital world, representing only 34.4% of self-employed individuals in the EU and encountering barriers to technology access and use.

Women 5.0 is our commitment to changing this.

Training for Women Entrepreneurs

The Women 5.0 project is an initiative under the Erasmus+ programme  focused on developing training programs for women entrepreneurs. The goal is to bridge the digital divide and empower women entrepreneurs to harness digital solutions to build their businesses.

Women 5.0 conducted a survey exploring their digital skills needs. Participants overwhelmingly expressed interest in AI, automation, and digital marketing tools to improve efficiency and business growth. Key challenges identified included limited digital literacy, lack of access to training and resources, and fear of new technologies.

The study highlights the need for targeted support and training to empower women entrepreneurs in leveraging technology for business success. Data handling and cybersecurity concerns were also prevalent.

Project Aims

Women 5.0 exists to identify the digital skills and technologies women entrepreneurs need to digitalise their business. The project aims to:

  1. Fight digital gender stereotypes and empower women towards equal access, use and exploitation of technologies
  2. Enhance women entrepreneurs’ digital skills to get the best use of the technology in their entrepreneurial process
  3. Reinforce entrepreneurship trainers in their key role to support, motivate and engage women in their use of ICT
Our Role

We will be presenting a project framework shaped by the insights gathered from the consultation phase, exploring the challenges entrepreneurs face when implementing new technologies and identifying the specific digital skills they are interested in learning.

One of the main factors holding women back from making significant digital advancements is time. Women entrepreneurs often juggle multiple roles outside of their business, which limits the time they can dedicate to learning new digital skills.

We are excited to be working alongside Action Against Hunger All Digital Association of Businesswomen in North MacedoniaMAO4Action and The Female Factor in the production of this programme.
