At the end of March, the Women 5.0 team gathered in beautiful Lisbon for our second transnational project meeting, hosted by our partners MAO4Action. Under the sunny Portuguese skies, the team was welcomed with plenty of coffee, energy, and—of course—delicious pastéis de nata to keep us going through our busy agenda.

Held at one of Lisbon’s vibrant university campuses, the meeting was filled with meaningful discussions and collaboration as project partners came together to reflect on our progress and plan the next steps forward.

Partner Meeting in Lisbon for Women 5.0

What We Achieved

The two-day session gave us an opportunity to share updates and align our efforts. Key accomplishments included:

Women 5.0 is a collaborative project working to transform the entrepreneurial landscape for women across Europe through removing barriers and building key knowledge bases.

  • Finalising important updates to the Competence Framework and course modules
  • Laying the groundwork for the Toolkit for Trainers, which will offer practical tools and resources for educators
  • Planning the upcoming Training for Trainers session

Here Enterprise Evolution, presented the final course framework and shared valuable insights from a stakeholder survey conducted to evaluate the relevance of our chosen course topics. All our work is grounded in the EntreComp and DigComp frameworks, ensuring we deliver learning that is both practical and impactful.

Stakeholder Feedback: Validating Our Direction

During the meeting, we took a look at respondent feedback to our initial survey. We asked respondents if they felt that the following key topics were the most relevant in regards to supporting female entrepreneurship:

  • Introduction to Digital Technologies
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset, Resilience, and Ideation for Business Digitalisation
  • Digital Tools for Marketing, Sales, Content Creation, and Automation
  • Digital Tools for Financial, Data, and Project Management
  • Safety, Security, and Ethical Responsibility in the Digital World

100% of respondents agreed that these topics are highly relevant, confirming that we are on the right track.

A First Glimpse of the Women 5.0 Website

Another exciting moment during the meeting was when our partners All Digital unveiled the first look at the Women 5.0 website, a key platform that will soon host our resources and training content. The website is shaping up to be a dynamic space for women entrepreneurs to build digital skills and grow their businesses.

Looking Ahead

As the meeting wrapped up, we were filled with a renewed sense of momentum. The project is well on its way to developing a powerful learning platform that will support female-led businesses in their digital transformation journeys.

After two productive days, we ended our time in Lisbon by soaking up some of the city’s iconic sights, culture, and sunshine. A perfect way to celebrate the progress we’ve made—and the exciting path ahead.

Make sure to check back for future updates on the Women 5.0 project.
