Research & Policy Reports

This page brings together the reports, statistics and policy papers we draw on across our policy research and development work – covering the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland economy, gender and economic inclusion, community and social economy, and women’s health.

Reports are grouped by theme below and updated regularly.

Gender & Economic Inclusion Reports

These reports track how women are faring across the economy — from entrepreneurship and access to finance to the gender pay gap and workplace representation – drawing on data from Ireland, Northern Ireland and the wider EU. We use this evidence to shape our work on women’s enterprise and economic inclusion, and to hold progress to account year on year.

Community and Social Economy Reports

This section covers research into Northern Ireland’s social enterprise and voluntary sector, including sector-wide economic estimates and the creative industries that sit alongside it. It reflects our work supporting community-led and socially-driven organisations as a distinct part of the wider economy, not an afterthought to it.

Women’s Health & Community-Centred Reports

Here we gather research and government strategy on women’s health, from national action plans to community-led surveys capturing lived experience directly from women themselves. This section underpins our work on health inequalities and community wellbeing, particularly where economic hardship and access to healthcare intersect.
